Perfect nature retreat! This property is something magical. Truly feels like an escape even being close to town. I rented the whole property and will definitely do it again in the future. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a beautiful nature retreat. The tent camping spots had views of the ocean and the cabins were super cozy. Last but not least the hosts were extremely helpful and easy to communicate with, plus wonderfully kind.

What a cool space! Nestled in the redwoods above Fort Bragg, this little cabin is so comfortable and inviting. We loved all the small touches of decoration on the property, and the outdoor shower was awesome! Arrived after dark, instructions were impeccable, woke to an incredible view of the ocean and beach through the woods. Highly recommended, book it if you can!

The Earth Cabin was a dreamy wonderland tucked away in the forest. It had everything we needed for a perfect glamping adventure. The outdoor shower is a must have experience! Under the stars, surrounded by trees. You wont regret it. Don't forget to prep your dough before the trip and use the woodfire pizza oven!! We had a blast! Ben and Grace made sure we had everything needed during our trip. Thank you for sharing your space!!

We loved this place! Really magical. Waking up in the woods with a view of the ocean can’t be beat. The property was exactly as advertised. I slept so well in the adorable, unique Earth Cabin, and the hosts were super responsive and helpful about every little question. The hot shower in the forest was so lovely. My dog and kid made friends with other campers - sweet family environment. Definitely coming back!

We had an amazing time at Ben and Grace‘s cabin. The forest is just magical, and we felt a beautiful, serene, wholesome energy the whole time we were there. The outdoor shower was such a pleasure to use, and the cabin was cozy. It was a great place to stop during our camping road-trip, we loved it. Ben and Grace were super helpful and responsive, and we truly wish to come back next time.

What a beautiful spot! It’s a very peaceful space, nestled deep (but not a far drive from the coast) in the redwoods and fern. It felt so nice to come back to the space after a day of beach time or biking and feel so nestled in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful! The Cabins were a perfect space to practice yoga and meditate (although I preferred sitting in the forest for meditation, and highly encourage it.) All in all, 10/10 and can’t wait to return. Just book it! Thank you for creating such a beautiful space for your guests! It was just the reprieve and healing space I needed.

First off the property is beautiful! You are nestled in the forest with beauty all around you and a incredible view of the ocean! The outdoor bath/shower is just so dreamy! Trees surrounding you as you soak in the bath. We made pizzas in the hand crafted pizza oven, made a fire in the fire pit and cozied up on the Adobe couches. The bed is super comfy, nice and warm. This is a jewel of a place and I definitely will be back, but for a longer stay next time!

I could not be more satisfied with this stay. It was all just perfect, our cabin was super clean, and everything was so well thought out. There is a big open space where you get a clear view of the ocean for a fantastic sunset, we just had two other neighbors with full privacy. Our cabin had a little fire-burning stove with little logs all chopped up for us. We woke up to the sun gleaming through the trees and a family of young deer grazing on the foliage. You really have to experience it for yourself. Total peace. Thank you for giving us such an amazingly peaceful experience,I really hope to be back soon!

This was EXACTLY what we needed. A whimsical getaway to unplug and connect with nature and each other. This place feels like camping in The Shire! Camping but with much less hassle. Very quiet and serene, clean, unique, just an all around adventure. We will absolutely be coming back!

Awesome experience. Insanely beautiful rainforest surroundings with a couple amazing trails right off the property. Also very close to the beach and downtown. Got a chance to meet Ben and he was an awesome guy that was very helpful. Will come back!

Beautiful all around! Ben and Grace were very hospitable, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! The placement of the outdoor shower was perfect, nestled in between trees. The grounds themselves were very beautiful, my partner and I took our dog on walks throughout the day. This was such a quiet and serene area. There is a great view of 10 mile beach, with plenty of seating to enjoy. Our stay here was truly such a wonderful experience. My partner and I are already planning our next trip out. If you have the chance to stay here, you definitely should, and I highly recommend the Earth cabin.

Our stay at the Ocean Forest was wonderful. Everything was awesome. The land that the cabins are on is beautiful, and all of the surrounding beaches, forests, and coastal walks are simply magical. Ben and Grace were extremely communicative - and we were very comfortable and cozy in our little home for the weekend. We were lucky to be the only ones on the property for one night - but even when other guests arrived, there was plenty of privacy. Definitely recommend if you are looking to explore Mendocino county (which you should!)

This was a beautiful property. The view of the ocean was amazing and you could hear the waves off in the distance. The cabin was very cozy and the outside area was relaxing and peaceful. The land the cabin is on is just beautiful, lots of tall trees and privacy. There was more property than expected, really gives the nature feel. Ben was really inviting and helpful, made us feel like we were staying on a friends property. We are already planning our next trip back.

Trees and serenity. Secluded, yet not isolated. Sunsets that were suspended in time and glowing in the tall trees. This was a last-minute booking, and Grace and Ben were so accommodating to us. Tidy little cabin with the cutest woodstove I have ever seen! Everything you need and nothing you don't. This is someplace I want to return to.
